Full Bore Rifle

There is great variety in the type of rifles owned by our members, everything from .222 to .308 in calibre and all the way from modern synthetic stocked, heavy barrelled, tactical rifles with powerful zoom scopes to old .303 service rifles with iron sights.

We have our own 100 Meter Covered Firing Point that is good for sighting in scopes and for regular practice to hone the skills required to keep groups tight. Visits to the M.O.D. ranges at Magilligan are a regular occurance. Here we have the opportunity to shoot out to 600yds. The pictures below were taken on one of these visits visit when we enjoyed fine weather, excellent companionship and relaxed shooting. If memory serves the targets on view are at 300yds.

Competitions are informal club affairs.
